2014: Ukip win Euro elections. 2015: Party promising referendum on EU membership wins general election. 2016: Leave wins EU referendum. 2017: Parties committed to leaving EU come 1st and 2nd in General Election. 2019: Brexit Party wins Euro elections. There's a pattern here...

Oh..... so more people didn’t vote for remain parties on Thursday. Right 👍

More people voted for a no-deal , WTO, Brexit than for any other single party. But the Conservatives' election mantra was "We are the only ones who can deliver Brexit" they should, therefore, be added to the Leave vote. You could also add in some Labour voters too and 25% SNP.

Some? 5? 10? More people voted unequivocally for parties advocating remaining in the EU. You’re welcome 👍

Honest question: why shouldn't cons be added to the "leave" line? I get the argument against adding labour (though disagree), but surely the cons are a leave party?

Simply put. Which parties would tolerate Brexit not happening at all? Green, SNP, Plaid, Labour, Dems, Change. That's comfortably over 53% of the vote share. Which parties would tolerate No-Deal Brexit? The Brexit Party, UKIP, the Tories. Comfortably under 47%

There are a LOT of northern labour voters who would strongly disagree with your assertion there...

That's one hell of an assumption. As someone who lives in the north west, i can tell you , you are wide of the mark. A lot of people will vote labour regardless. They had an 83% majority in my area at the last GE.

Genuinely amazed at what I’m seeing this morning. A hard-right party has just made sweeping gains, especially in Labour’s northern heartlands. And Labour’s response is “who cares, we need to shore up Islington”.
