Just got back. In the end I voted Change UK. Disagree 100% with their Brexit stance. But I spent years demanding Labour MPs have the courage to take a stand, and actually do something about what's happened to their party. And they did. That's more important than logos.

Hmm. Being called principled by JHB. It's hardly a ringing endorsement. Bit like being called a good sport by Jose Mourinho.

Not principled at all. Just ‘bollocks’ to use the phrase of that well know sage Strictly Vince

Wasted vote . Change will be wiped out at the next General Election.

Not sure he has the right principles then. Voting for UN-principled MP's who left their parties without by-elections to form an anti-democratic party, which is collapsing by the day.
-
It's still principled whether there are by-elections or not, because what they left behind is an anti-semitic sewer
-
Only two of them left behind the sewer that is the Conservative party that supports the antisemitic regime in Hungary and arm the antisemitic state of Saudi Arabia. But even so they should call by-elections.
-
When the EHRC investigates the Conservative Party, feel free to come back with this argument. Until then you're just clutching at straws.
-
But more important than the apology you owe me is some insight - does it not trouble you that the Conservative party that supports the antisemitic regime in Hungary and arm the antisemitic state of Saudi Arabia?
-
1) "supports" Orban? To what degree? 2) Who has the greater history of antisemitic behaviour, Orban or Corbyn? 3) The Conservative Party doesn't *arm* anyone. UK Arms manufacturers do. Your argument is that they should be prevented from doing so. Correct?
-
1) Tory MEPs. 'Viktor Orbán, has thanked Conservative MEPs for their “solidarity” in voting against European Union action to protect the rule of law in his country.'https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2018/sep/24/hungarian-pm-viktor-orban-thanks-uk-tory-meps-who-voted-against-sanctions …

Is this sarcasm Julia? Voting for MPs who stood on one manifesto, voted to trigger Art 50, reneged on this and then didn’t have the courage to stand in a by-election to test those “principles”?

Each to their own. That’s democracy for you. But I was surprised to say the least, having been a regular reader of Dan’s tweets. I didn’t see that one coming.

Not if you believe in democracy it isn't. Those labour MPs have taken a stand against democracy.
