When did we sell that area to another country???

The Edgware Road has for a long time been an area with a high concentration of Lebanese and other Middle Eastern peoples. It always used to feel safe and welcoming. Not so any more it seems. Last time I visited it felt different somehow.
-
indeed how do I put this? I believe the Muslims that we have now are less tolerant than previous decades
-
It seems so. It uses to be a delight going to the Safeway on the Edgware Road when I lived nearby. Stopping in a few other shops at the same time. Last time I walked along there, I was stared at as if I didn't belong.
-
horrible isn't it and shouldn't happen They do appear more strident in views & seem to expect concessions & law bending Whether that's because authorities have allowed it I don't know, should've been nipped in the bud 15 years ago Unfortunately with Muslims in hi office now ..

That’s exactly what he’s saying.
-
He's realised that he's dropped a bollock and is quickly backtracking as we tweet
-
It is what it is, there's no backtracking from that.
-
He’s gonna try though. Who got the screenshot?pic.twitter.com/uPhU7eW8In

He is clearly stating that it is a Muslim no-go area and American Jewish visitors can expect to be abused. Perhaps the council should erect warning signs?
-
A Muslim no-go area? We talk casually about a Muslim no-go area in the capital city of the UK and we're not all screaming at this!
-
Nobody is being casual or accepting; that’s why it’s being discussed on here - join the outrage and start screaming.
-
I've been screaming for quite a while, nothing is being done apart from more protections against criticism of Islamic affairs. Christian priests stopped from preaching after complaints, we know not from whom, but we can guess I think. Time to scream louder.

Julia imagine if, say Boris or Farage, said that there were parts of London that were out of bounds for certain religions. And imagine the outcry from
@adamboultonSKY and@SkyNews screaming racism! Double standards of the highest order. Should be sackedThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
