I mean he has just threatened an elected official. There should be some high bars to get dismissed from the ballot but I think that should be one of them

If he has committed an offence, he should be arrested. But if he is not behind bars, he should be allowed to stand for election.
-
He has threatened an elected official. He is the unacceptable face of the right that has been given a voice by Brexit

I can see where you’re coming from but I do disagree with you on this one Julia- That is quite dangerous and massively inappropriate and criminal offences/ hate crimes can’t go un-noticed. I don’t like Jess Phillips but she shouldn’t have to put up with this from a MEP candidate.
-
I didn’t say it wasn’t. And I didn’t say she should. He’s a nasty piece of work and if he said the same about me, I’d pay him a personal visit. I’m saying if he has broken the law, arrest him. But he should still be entitled to stand for election.
-
That’s fair enough- I know you weren’t endorsing it. It’s important to say too Julia- I do appreciate your indefatigable devotion re: sticking up for us Brexit voters!

I'm no Corbyn fan but she said something about stabbing him. Should she be banned?
-
She did. Quite plainly. It was given a pass. And yet there was all that screeching and attempts to misconstrue something innocuous Farage said - which took a great stretch of the imagination. Jess is arrogant and unprincipled.

Isn’t this the same Jess who told us that the hundreds of New Year atrocities in Cologne and other cities in Germany were only like Birmingham City Centre on a Saturday night?

There’s a difference between “offensive to me” and targeted threats of violence against named individuals. You do see that, don’t you?
-
Jess Phillips threatened to stab Jeremy Corbyn in the front, yet there were crickets from you
