£24 to drive in to London on Tuesday lunchtime, spent half hour driving round trying to find a parking space (that helped the emissions) & then charged £7:30 an hour to park. Taxed & ripped off in London

You could, instead, use public transport and stop filling other people’s lungs with the belching of your exhaust.
-
I’m sure you would be happy with me carrying a 5ltr sprayer, a ladder, all my cleaning materials and a bags full of pigeon shit on a bus. Not every job can be done without a vehicle in London

-
Pigeon shit makes good compost, probably not when it’s polluted with cleaning chemicals tho....
I do think that exemptions and discounts for particular circumstances aren’t thought through. That needs more consideration. -
Pigeon droppings can be composted – though it is best to only compost it from healthy, captive birds (such as racing stock), as droppings from wild pigeons contains harmful diseases and or pathogens. They still have to be transported safely from site

The ULEZ is the right idea but there should be joined up thinking with the treasury I.e. for trades that require vans etc there should be an insensitive through the tax system etc to trade in older vans for electric or dual fuel low emissions types.
-
Really?Stuff the place full of immigrants,then introduce extra taxation,using the ruse that its to reduce pollution.Better to get rid of some of the people.,who shouldn't be there.
-
Off you go then.

Don’t you love democracy! As long as there are viable opponents, Sadiq is going. He’s played the role of London Mayor as an audition for a future Labour leader. But he’s just like all other politicians at the moment. Bad actors trying to hide bad policies and inability to listen.
-
I agree , at times you would have thought he was the prime minister. He should have stuck to his remit as London Mayor and not tried to interfere in politics outside the London bubble

I am not surprised. The thought that it is a Labour mayor that is making London's roads the preserve of the rich is frankly sickening. The working man's party? I think not anymore.........
@SadiqKhan -
They ceased to be a workers party years ago . Sadly on both sides of the house we are dictated to by self serving career politicians
