Don’t forget to vote today if local elections are being held where you live. If you don’t bother to vote then why should politicians bother to listen to you? Use your vote and make them listen.pic.twitter.com/6C6RNXCrdP

Voting makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. The brexit farce is proof of that.

But my ballot paper only lists Tory, Labour and Libdem - I can't bring myself to vote for any of them.

Why should politicians not listen to us just because we don't vote?? They don't listen to us when we do!!!

@JuliaHB1 we did vote - on 23 June 2016 and they didn't listen either, so not much use trying to use that argument.

No matter what - local, GE or EU elections I have always voted. This time I'm not bothering because the only choice I have is the 3 main parties. Any other party/candidate standing would have got my vote this time - even a squirrel wearing a stetson.

"Why should politicians bother to listen to you?" Easy. Just get on the streets, close down parts of London for a week, cause £millions of losses, put a teen celebrity on the TV and they'll cave in to any demand you make. Really - it's that easy. Voting's for losers. :(
