Your tweet starts as a question and ends by making it sound like you have stated a fact. By all means ask how the data has been sampled and tested but your tweet is just unsubstantiated rubbish. You’re just sewing the seeds of doubt.

She's spot on though. Don't think she is conclusive, we don't know what the degrees are in, but she is spot on about the pay grades associated with different careers. She usually is bang on the money.

-
I think she spouts rubbish. Much of it hateful. Perhaps we are just both committed to believing what we want hey Chris? Of course pay for being an engineer is higher than say a researcher in gender equality, the question is if this has been taken in to account by the researchers.
-
My point is that neither the research nor the article address this point - despite the fact that it probably (according to OTHER research) would account for 90%+ of the difference in pay.
-
Not quite sure why that is “hateful” unless you hate facts. But hey ho.
-
I considered tweeting that I hate the word 'hateful' because it is so often misused. Then I realised the quandary I had put myself in.

You’ll have to forgive me as I’m not very good at trolling (as you may have noticed), so just for the avoidance of doubt... You’re saying that the lorries in front and behind you didn’t have extra customs checks, stops etc holding them up going into Switzerland that morning?

-
Dan, bit of advice regards trolling. Don’t leave it 2 months next time..,,

The gender pay gap does NOT compare apples with apples. It’s devisive and is manipulated to suit the Liberal agenda. I pay all my staff the same IF they do the same job - irrespective of age or gender. But dont expect a server to earn the same as a Chef or Maitre D
-
Hear hear! That's exactly what the liberals want, the server to earn the same as the Chef- if they don't they scream "discrimination". Next they'll say servers must be considered to be a chef too or "discrimination". Look at South Africa to see how well that policy does NOT work

But that would almost imply such degrees aren't really worth taking...that cant be the case though. Silly me what a ridiculous thought.

Don't forget the "degrees" in hairdressing. Or the degrees in nursing, which are largely unnecessary (and didn't exist as a job requirement until the last decade). Distorting comparisons with the years before Blair screwed up the Uni system help no-one.

So the inference here is that men are really clever and choose degrees in subjects where they get away with a BA and women are really not that clever choosing subjects where they have to earn a masters or a doctorate and still be paid less the clever men?
-
And god only knows what you think about the black students’ choice of subjects and degrees?

On the subject of useless degrees .. the Dear Leader couldn’t even complete his “Trade Union Studies” degree at North London Poly. The shame he must carry around every....single....day
