For an entire week thousands of us have alternated shifts from 4pm-1am, 1am-7am, and 7am-4pm to hold 4 major sites in London around the clock, sleeping in the road & getting arrested night after night. Call us loons for being scientifically literate but don't call us lazy! :)

Shift?

-
Manning the barricades at our occupation sites! Every affinity group has several night shifts throughout the week.
-
Wow. Hard shift then. Bet you hated it. Having to travel 4 yards from a flea infested sleeping bag to stand regally, like a Queens Lifeguard at the front line. Sounds like hard work. A proper shift. How did you manage it? Was 3 Weetabix involed? Kudos to you

It's a 40 minute walk from Marble Arch to Parliament Square and Waterloo Bridge, doing that twice a day can get tiring. Luckily we were sorted for food from all the generous donations from passing Londoners! I spent my shifts chatting to the police, they were totally supportive.

Still well before noon - probably just thinking about getting out of bed. At least they won't be delayed by showering before leaving the house.
-
Unless you haven't noticed we aren't in houses, we have been camped at Marble Arch, alternating night shifts and getting up at any hour to respond to police build-up at our sites. It's fine to disagree with us, but your personal attacks on us for being lazy are just moronic.

They are packing out Costa and Starbucks at moment, tying up their Merrell hiking boots as they sip

Facial recognition could have its uses after all. Identify and stop their benefits as they're not available for work.

They were stood around their make shift kitchen an hour or so ago chomping on organically grown, climate friendly muesli, I love the way these things start off with people and end up as an actual camp site with restaurants, shops and everything else you'd need while camping.

Hope they clean all their mess up
-
Yes, they will, ruin their prestige otherwise, ide like to know if they had the nerve to use the loos in the establishments they'd kept the punters away from.
