Remember, we don’t have enough police officers to stop teenagers stabbing each other to death. But apparently we DO have enough police officers to mess about on skateboards instead of arresting people who are blocking a public highway. Good to know.https://twitter.com/JackTibbs7/status/1118122685832290305 …

But when there is a terrorist attack on a London Bridge it’s these guys who run towards the threat to keep us safe while you smear them with a 10 second clip.

I’m not smearing anyone. I’m criticising the police chiefs who claim they don’t have enough officers to police our streets. What’s the smear?

Literally one of the least offensive things ive seen the police do. It's called building community relations. They know kids have no respect and more importantly no fear anymore, its a dangerous time to be openly hostile to large crowds

They don’t have enough officers that’s a fact otherwise why have they cancelled all holidays this weekend? A three second video of a policeman with a bit of down time and you use it against them? Jesus Julia as if their job isn’t hard enough

So what you are saying is police don't need to have a heart. The have to be there with the idiots that are blocking the street. Calling them stupid just make you look stupid. So dill with it. Not everything the police does is glorious but has to be done.

Criticising them? Why? They are not to be criticised when we have had 20,000 officers taken off our streets. Your ivory tower may be above the clouds or have no windows because if you knew how the police are struggling at the moment you wouldn't have tweeted this crap. FFS.

The policeman should have spent his time tweeting, maybe slagging off a nurse for taking a tea break, or a bin man for having a smoke on his break.

The smear is you attempting to push some sort of moral outrage amongst your flock by amplifying a short clip of a hardworking police officer being amongst the people, rather than against them. Pathetic really.

Your smear is in reducing down all crime to this one moment, and acting as though this one singular moment is somehow at fault for any and all other crimes that were unpreventable due to a multitude of complex variables. If you are not acting, then you are willfully blind.
