But when there is a terrorist attack on a London Bridge it’s these guys who run towards the threat to keep us safe while you smear them with a 10 second clip.

I’m not smearing anyone. I’m criticising the police chiefs who claim they don’t have enough officers to police our streets. What’s the smear?
-
I hope your career goes well. You put a lot of effort into your act.

I’m a journalist not an actress

And a shit one at that

Literally one of the least offensive things ive seen the police do. It's called building community relations. They know kids have no respect and more importantly no fear anymore, its a dangerous time to be openly hostile to large crowds

These are officers who've just had their Easter rest days cancelled. So get off their backs. p.s. Hope you have a relaxing and peaceful Easter.
-
They’re still at work
-
Are they? Maybe. How did you check? You'll see Police in uniform in coffee shops and cafés; aren't they allowed to have a break even if still on shift?

Police officers engaging with local communities, showing they’re normal people has a significant impact on the relationship between the two. Don’t under estimate the importance of this when tackling knife crime

Shock horror... police officers are human!

Remember, we don’t have enough journalists to investigate electoral fraud in the UK. But we do have enough to make trivial comments about the police based on a sample size of one.

Julia THOUSANDS of officers do a BRILLIANT job on a daily basis - but you know what - highlight a few who have got it wrong hey - that really helps doesn’t it! You are worse than they are
-
He hasn't got it wrong. Engaging with youth is one of the best ways to build trust and help remove divisions. As for Hartley-Brewer, she's insidious!
-
I don’t think he has got it wrong TBH

Amazed at how many think it’s ok for the police to be dancing with these cretins and riding skateboards - their job is to clear the highway and let everyone get on with their day. As usual JHB is spot on. Were I to organise road block against legal aid to Begum I’d soon be moved.
-
What brief was given to the police on the ground? Were their orders to clear the highway? Were they asked to oversee a peaceful (if irresponsible) demonstration? I think we need to know this before we pass judgement.
