True, but they might affect their future studies, college/university applications etc. So not that different. They are important and stressful, that's the point.

Nope. SATS have absolutely no bearing on your life. Not even year7. 11+ still exists for entrance into certain schools

Erm, the endless slave driving from teachers whose job depends on it/headteachers whose job depends on it/local authorities. Ofsted There is no motivation for the children. No life outcome. That's why we experience endless mental health issues and poor attendance in year 6
