So the police stand by and do nothing when left-wing extremists blockade bridges and busy streets in London, but stretch every sinew to investigate “mis-gendering” on Twitter. Sort it out @sajidjavid.

Why are you driving a car in Central London? Can't you use the tube or a bus or even cycle or walk? Your selfish decision to drive a car and create congestion & pollution is one of the main reasons why there is a climate change emergency.
-
Actually I don’t drive my car in central London but I do take cabs to work at 5am across Waterloo bridge. As do many many others. Why should our rights be infringed just because someone else doesn’t like a govt policy?
-
Your
@JuliaHB1 tweet said "What would happen if I tried to drive my car across the bridge they blockaded" I think you will find that is a metaphorical admission that you drive or would want to drive your car in London. And if you hadn't noticed we live in a democratic society -
Do you understand the difference between London and central London?
-
Do you understand the difference between right and wrong?

Ah Julia. Happy when cabbies and yellow pests blocked the streets though. Not happy about climate change or any other kind of protests.
-
Not happy about those demos either. Have always moaned about all protests that deliberately cause problems for everyone else. A few traffic delays for a democratic protest on one day is reasonable. A fortnight of deliberate inconvenience is not. Next?
-
Perhaps it would be worth arranging a protest against protests?
-
As long as it doesn’t inconvenience anyone, of course.

You’re not legally entitled to drive your car across a bridge with people stood/sat on it, even if they’re not meant to be there - you get that right?
-
No, but she is legally entitled to drive her car across the bridge, and has a legal entitlement that it be unimpeded by unlawful protestors.
-
Is there actually a legal entitlement to drive across a bridge or are you just assuming there is?
-
AFAIAW there is no legal entitlement to drive a car at all. You are only allowed to do so under license.
-
Once you have a licence and presuming you abide by the relevant laws then yes there is a legal entitlement to drive a car. There is a legal right to do anything not actively prohibited by law.
-
Lol. I think we can surely all agree that IT IS against the law to deliberately drive your car into a group of people stood or sat on the highway (regardless if they are protestors)https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-northern-ireland-41442607 …

Infact JHB, the law very sensibly only entitles you to drive a motor vehicle IF THE ROAD AHEAD IS CLEAR. No exceptions. But, of course the demo is only there to inconvenience you. Why else would they be there ?
-
If that was the only reason that they were there I would still support them 100%!
