How would Brexit work? Er, we’d leave the EU and run our own affairs. AS MOST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD ALREADY DO. I’m really not sure why this is so confusing for an intelligent man like @campbellclaret.https://twitter.com/campbellclaret/status/1116963983213383681 …

The 'people' were split: of the 55% who did not want full independence, 38% wanted greater powers. They too were cheated. The odd thing is. Scotland under the SNP wishes to keep the Crown, hence it is not seceding. It is asking we negotiate a new accord for the 21st century.
-
In addition, Westminster plans to withdraw a long list of powers from Scotland, the prize for believing the promise that holding to an illusary 'union' meant staying in Europe. As a business woman I'm sure you'd call any contract signed and broken in that manner, null and void.
-
Not plans to, has removed, 111 powers on 12th June 2018

An intelligent woman like yourself would recognise the interference in the democratic process exerted by Westminster and the media in 2014. You are scathing of the EU's attempts to keep the UK in. Did Juncker lobby every major PM/president? You get my point?
-
Indeed. The colonial knows only one attitude, that they are always virtuous and the natives are lucky they are always right.
-
I hate imperialism, colonisation and no voters. Just saying....

It’s only a minority in Scotland that want independence. Support has dropped from its peak during the independence referendum.
-
I thought you voted YES? I knew at the time that was a big fat lie.

They want to be in the EU too, as do the people of NI. Is that ok with you too?
-
Maybe but we will stick with the UK. Of the two, it’s the best union to be part of.
-
Not for me it’s not.The EU isn’t perfect but I’d rather stick with its aims( that all members agree and sign up to) than ‘Governed’ by an out of touch, serving elite
-
You do realise we vote proportionally to the size of our country in the EU? We could be consistently outvoted in Europe if we were independent.
-
Away and say that to Malta or Cyprus then but I like good practice for medical issues across the EU or roam free for phones or aims of organic farming unlike W/Minster where everything comes down to money, not ppl, not even values just money
-
I have concluded many SNats are prejudiced against the UK. Against the people but particularly against the UK state. Their views on the EU are a giveaway. They are often blind that “we” could be outvoted in the EU and would have to compromise like in any union.
-
And some ppl don’t realise in any union, European or otherwise it’s about working ‘together’ not winner takes all like FPTP.Think average EU state pension v U.K. state pension or working time directive,it’s U.K. policies that are found wanting
-
UK workplace payments pensions are higher than in other countries. I would ask you the same question I ask all SNats. What do you actually want? Take back control? No more Tories? Not having to compromise with UK? The SNP run Scotland so you have what you want already.

Yes, they want to be independent that’s why they are desperate to remain in the EU????
-
Why does England want to leave the EU but is desperate to stay in the UK?
-
Because they rule the UK.
