No, he didn’t. Farage was clearly talking about MPs fearing the voters AT THE BALLOT BOX. But you knew that already. Stop using a murdered mother as a political pawn. It’s repulsive. Shame on you.https://twitter.com/JoCoxFoundation/status/1116761856176209920 …

Nigel Farage's speech today directly incited violence and abuse towards MPs. This language was deeply irresponsible, hateful and designed to divide. There is no 'us' and 'them'. When we seek to disunite, we damage only ourselves. #moreincommon #LoveLikeJo pic.twitter.com/2cpomEWD2Y

Farage released a poster depicting thousands of Syrian refugees as a tool for Brexit. Later that day a far right loon murdered Jo Cox. The language he uses is vital because he has a huge angry little England following. It’s nothing to do with democracy. He has no shame.

The man who murdered Jo Cox had been a far right lunatic for many years before that poster went up. Bloody ridiculous claim to make.

I wasn’t claiming anything I was making the point that the language he uses is dangerous and damaging. The division in the country now and the anger against parliament and MP’s over the last few years is in your words, down to him 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would never condone violence or threats. But I get The anger people feel towards Mps, It's down to their constant inaction over #brexit. Nothing to do with the words of one man Westminster just needs to get on with it...deliver what we voted for..Out!! #Brexit

And yet somehow managed to get hold of a firearm in the short space of time between being radicalised by seeing Nigel's poster and the murder taking place. I think someone needs to stop digging.

We're not talking about far right radicalisation, we're talking about far right normalisation. Taking prejudices that already exist and putting them into the mainstream, legitimising violence etc.

He may have been a far right lunatic for years and thought nothing of doing anything but Rhetoric is a powerful thing so Julia reminding people of what happened to Jo is not a political pawn it’s a grim reminder of how people can be incited.
