Vote size increases with population at each election (depending on turnout). So latest GE/referendum is always biggest ever. Strength of mandate depends on majority size. If only ~650k people change minds to tie ref. result for 46.5m voters, it is a weak mandate for change.

Plus it wasn't the biggest in either percentage or number of people anyway. And it definitely wasn't democratic (electoral fraud)pic.twitter.com/Lmm079jUjW

In 1975, by a remarkable coincidence, 17.4 million voted to stay in the predecessor of the EU. Only 8.5 million voted against – a majority of 8.9 million Vote was 67.2% to 32.8% (majority of 34.4%) with turnout of 64.6% A much stronger mandate than 2016.

And in 1933, 17.3 million people voted for Hitler...

I don’t know who they are but they certainly get around.

They can't be extremists because Corbyn isn't willing to enter talks with them.

We are the ONLY Centrists who are willing to respect democracy Julia. I wish people like you and other prominent Brexiteers would give us a leg up so we can get those Labour Leave voters over here

You aren’t fighting the EU elections so I’ll vote Brexit Party. I prefer your policies to UKIP’s and I don’t like the company they keep but they are the only ones fighting my constituency in the locals. I would like all Brexit Parties to work together so they don’t split the vote
-
That's fine, I'm voting Brexit Party in EU elections too.
You've probably got a chance of some pro-Brexit parties allying in some sort of way but NOBODY will go near UKIP. -
I will vote ukip at local elections, as there are no other brexit parties standing
-
Totally understandable.
If it was same in my ward, I would vote for them too. - End of conversation
