Just had an MRI scan for a back problem. Bloody scary experience. Waited 2 months for the NHS appointment. Arrived early & seen straight away because the patient before me didn’t turn up. Up to 20% of patients don’t turn up to their MRI scans. What a waste of NHS resources.

It’s not true that economic forecasting - on a body of evidence basis - has a success rate of worse than 50%. Economic forecasting isn’t even binary so the premise is even false. Do you know this or are you deliberately misrepresenting the situation?

Because as she says, they are for want of a better word guessing, yes they analyse statistics and have formulas in to which they come to their conclusions but ultimately they don’t actually know for sure. A Surgeon will have all the detail he needs from blood test, MRI, X-ray to
