I had no idea the MRI scanner was so small inside. It’s like being locked inside a brightly lit (and very noisy) coffin. The staff were lovely and played music for me to pass the 15 minutes inside but... well, I’m still waiting for my heart rate to back go down...

Had to cancel one this month because the wait was so long and I had to get back to work. Has now been rearranged for late June.
-
You could have had the unused appointment before mine!

I turned up at 2pm for a 2:30 app with a consultant & was kept waiting until just after 5pm without any Info as to what caused the delay. When Dr eventually got to me and I expressed that I thought the delay was out of order she said unless l shook her hand she would not see me
-
I hope you made a formal complaint.

Is it? Are staff waiting around, or does the next patient get seen earlier?
-
If the next patient turns up on time, they get seen straight away but that means a scan appointment (for which people wait months) is wasted. It can’t be got back.
-
What is a waste is how 73% of scanners are used for less than 80 hours per week.

Yeah, that's the big take home here, Julia.
-
What’s your take?
-
Mine would be "wow, me and my mates spend our lives running down the NHS, and yet i still recieve this treatment for free, and whilst these amazing workers recieve a outragously low salary and work long hours, they are still pleasant"

Try living in Ireland, we pay prsi, basically national insurance and then we pay. 55 euro for doctors appointment, 120 euro for A&E visit. Got a cortisone injection last month,-260 euro... Miss the NHS.
-
That makes the situation worse! Free NHS and then not turn up. Maybe we should bill no shows?pic.twitter.com/qCkho2e2R3

I’d like GP appointments too. Very difficult to get an appointment at my surgery, so when one is wasted it’s very annoying
