No, once again @DavidLammy tells a blatant lie. The Belgian Ofsted staffer has not been rejected by the Home Office for settled status. He simply needs to provide proof of residence since 2013. Pretty easy to do with rent/mortgage records, bank statements, drivers license etc.https://twitter.com/DavidLammy/status/1115653883739672577 …

Blockbusters? Did you hire a TV and Betamax player from Radio Rentals while you were at it?
-
Yes, I am really THAT old

There is old and there is out of date. You are not old.

This is just patently not true. The amount of hoops I jumped to get through the settled status system was way more than DBS/CRC and it took a long time to provide the right ‘kind’ of proof. Definitely not the same league as blockbusters

Providing id is the easy part. The morons at HO fail to find things like your nhs records, or student loan or tax p60s and you have to dig these out and provide these. The site fails to register uploads. App only works on android (sometimes). There are only few physical offices

You’re clearly someone who reads and responds to replies to your tweets. My question is do you say things to trigger a reaction or do you mean any of it? Takedown after takedown, you come back up with another statement from where the sun don’t shine.
#embarrassing -
I mean all of it. I think you may be confusing a “takedown” with “someone disagreeing with what I tweet”. Those really aren’t the same things. Or was your tweet a takedown too? So hard to tell these days...

I wanted to use "smackdown" but it had one too many letters for the tweet.

I had a Blockbusters card. That was easy. Can you prove to the HO satisfaction you were resident in the UK between April and December 2015 - with original documents? Before you even knew you might have to prove this, because you have a right to be here?
-
Incidentally, if only 20% need to prove it, that’s still 600,000 cases for the HO to work through. That’s a lot of extra work for an overworked department.

Julia you are so impossibly spiteful again
. Why is that. You know these people have been put through untold trauma @InLimboBrexit and yet you trivialise their suffering
. What is wrong with you. Also it’s ‘licence’ - ‘c’ for the noun. Go into In Limbo site, speak to others
-
In 2016 we were promised that we would be automatically granted indefinite leave to remain by your mate Boris Johnson. What has changed
