Hey @MollyMEP, Brexit hasn’t diminished our nation. It’s the useless Remainer PM and Remoaner politicians like you working every day to undermine our democratic vote for Brexit that has led us here. You share the blame for this.https://twitter.com/MollyMEP/status/1115489043645644800 …

That's nonsense surely? We all have the right to express our opinions and to fight against what can increasingly be seen to be a damaging outcome. The leavers have never explained, convincingly, how leaving will make life better for the people of our country.
-
I think “nonsense” is putting it quite politely.

I think that is a disingenuous response. If you believe in democracy, you accept dissent. For very many people, Brexit represents one of the worst political ideas ever and wish to express their views. To assert that they are in democratic is indicates a perverse idea of democracy

The most incredible part of the national humiliation is the humiliation of those who won and hadn’t the slightest idea what to do. 3rd rate populist windbags.

The campaign won more votes based on vague promises and unicorns that could not be delivered. We now see Brexit for what it is: - Families facing being split up or deported - Businesses going to the wall - Our international reputation sinking faster than the Titanic
-
All because of a fraudulent referendum that was only called because of infighting in the Tory party.

what democratic result? do you mean the one in which campaigns led by senior Tory MPs engaged in electoral law violations as adjudicated in court? such electoral fraud in civilised societies invalidates the results: it can no longer be called "democratic" when tainted with fraud

I am literally allowed to disagree with you for no reason at all and it’s absolutely no less democratic for me to do so. Fortunately I have a reason and that reason is that you’ve destroyed my fucking country.

Whilst you accept rampant criminality and corruption as being "fair enough" in the 2016 referendum. Duly noted.

Since the first referendum had many flaws in the democracy department your argument is pointless. Are you just trying to cause division and anger?

I accept the democratic result Julia but unfortunately you completely bloody hopeless leavers haven’t managed to come up with a plan between the 17.4 m of you - leaving without a deal is the resort of those like you who haven’t got a clue how to do this rationally.

Brexit adversely affects my life and strips me of rights I have. Governments that look to remove rights from people through fraudulent means don’t tend to last very long.

JHB, 'Remoaner' IS an insult and one that is often used by leavers, usually when they can't justify their desire to leave with a rational argument with substantial evidence to back up their claims, line you do, frequently.

People who accepted a result based on criminal acts and democrats who are horrified that the Government condoned a fraudulent process. Revoke. Investigate the criminals bring them to justice and ban them from public office.

Democracy is giving people the truth and listening to the people. Lying to the people then asking them to base a life changing decision based on those lies and breaking the law to influencing them IS NOT DEMOCRACY.

By that reasoning, you're saying we're all Conservatives now as they won the election? That winning a vote means there can be no opposition voiced? Euroscepticism has been vocal in UK politics all my life. Do you understand adversarial nature of politics in the UK?

You're a liar. Not an insult. Just distinguishing between people who tell the truth and people who don't.

History and the courts already shows a lack of democracy in 2016. Interpreting democracy to one's own ends is rife. Which is more important, democracy or responsibility? Seems to be a general lack of the latter these days.
