“Part of the job description for every French president is to humiliate the Brits”, is this because they were totally humiliated in 1940 and had to be bailed out by the Anglo-Americans, something they seem to have never forgiven us for.

No nation can ever have proved itself so utterly unworthy of being saved by others as France has.

We don’t need a French President to humiliate us when we have our own Prime Minister doing a peerless job of doing so.

Small man syndrome - It has always bothered the French that the British economy out-preforms theirs Unemployment currently at just under 10% with Macron unable to stimulate the economy and leaves it trailing behind the UK

@shashj LOL at France trying to make anyone else look humiliated, historically they've been pretty good at doing that to themselves.

Of course the BBC absolutely adore Macron and the so so sophisticated and stylish French. It is a life style and culture they aspire to. The anglophobia displayed by the French is in line with the BBCs left wing views. a la Comrade Corbyn Rob
