Dear Julia, we recommend buttering both slices of bread on both sides. For the best results we also suggest adding a slice of butter between each layer of filling.

I think you need to be careful of how much bread you have with your butter. You don’t want to over-bread.

Thank you Mr Stock for your interest in nutrition and sexual health. Indeed 'over breading' has been linked by academic research to infertility in the modern male, cases of sudden impotence-related divorce and also the fall of ancient Carthage. Remember: bread is a seasoning.

Fortunately my sexual health and fertility have never been questioned. For that, I don’t doubt, butter has contributed enormously.

Well on that i have to agree with them. In fact, bread should be used only as a necessary carrier for butter.

Dear Mr Pinder. Please note that the crisps and bread in this traditional recipe should be considered a seasoning to the main ingredients.

Rumours of a secret 'Butter Club' that have been circulating on the internet are completely falsified and also innacurate.

Are we still allowed to butter the cat's paws or is there an EU Directive on this now? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Dear Julia, to avoid confusion we always recommend British Whole Butter to maintain strength and virility. Do NOT substitute for French or Irish under any circumstances.

Interesting fact. Research in Israel has shown that the glucose spikes, that make us more fat, can be reduced by adding more fat (similar to “lining your stomach”). So buttered bread is less fattening then when it’s not.
