How much will this ‘long delay’ cost us. Letwin & cooper have opened a blank chequebook for the EU. A national disgrace

Indeed! We have truly entered some parallel universe - where “fair is foul and foul is fair” as the witches in ‘Macbeth’ said!! Reversal of all accepted moral pointers.....!!!

How else do people suggest we solve this problem? You can't expect MPs on both sides to vote for something which they think is terrible.
-
We expect them to implement the outcome of the 2016 referendum. They gave the choice to us, we decided. We expect this in the same way it should have been implemented if Remain had the majority.

So true

Julia...why we just don't leave and give everyone certainty is unfathomable...the Irish border has proved as we knew to be a red herring. We need out, no vote, no CU. Just OUT and a simple FTA.

To be fair Corbyn led a party to significant election success and does have democratic mandate despite his ideological failings. Brexit died when it went to a hung, remain-biased parliament. This is just part of the long inevitable 'procrastinate, dilute, cancel' process.
-
Brexit died when the PM admitted the naughtiest thing she ever did was run through wheat fields. A robot doesn’t make the best negotiator, especially when her preference is to secretly fail. We voters have a right to be incandescent with fury at her abject ineptitude.

Yes - both sides do - I agree

This stubborn woman has led the country into bedlam and division. She’d rather win her deal than respect a people’s vote. She’d rather side with opposition to remain in power.
-
Are there no depths to which she won’t fall...Oh: No, I can see there aren’t!

Brexit negotiator and remain civil servant Olly Robbins is present at the May/Corbyn meetings to advise on what is acceptable to the EU. Given the contents of Cabinet Secretary Mark Sedwill's leaked letter, exactly who is in charge of Brexit? Is May leading or being led?
-
Presumably no one was present to say what was acceptable to the 17.5m who voted Leave...

Even when the party with the largest number of MP's is in power if they do not have an overall majority they have problems & even more so when they have traiters in their midst
