British soldiers have been filmed using a picture of Jeremy Corbyn in target practice at an army base in Kabul. The MoD says the incident was "totally unacceptable" and an investigation has been launched - more on this story here: http://po.st/uOPXCE pic.twitter.com/Hd8hG9W4Cs

Always amazes me how on one hand we want our soldiers to be hardened killing machines and on the other PC flowers. People are very naive
-
Their professional actions are meant to be politically neutral; they serve the crown.
-
Don’t be so naive
-
How is it naive? They are meant to be politically neutral when serving, nothing naive about it.
-
Meant to be but that’s where you are naive young man
-
They can be held to account for not being, I think you and they are the naive ones
-
Reality is different to your perfect world unfortunately. If somebody hadn’t shared it you wouldn’t be any wiser
-
Right but we do know and they’ll be held to account.

Precisely, they’ve got even more reason to dislike Corbyn!
-
I would suggest more reason to dislike a Ministry of Defence & PM who pays very little regard to veterans' post service suffering; from mental health issues or physical injuries, perhaps who've fallen upon hard times, may be evicted, homeless, with their benefits being slashed.
-
Not true. I am a wounded veteran and the army has been brilliant to me and continues to support me. Most, if not all who fall on hard times do so because of lack of engagement or destructive behaviours beyond the scope of the MOD.

Meanwhile the
#politiscum in the House of Conmen are destroying our country and democracy. Our anti Brit anti Britain anti#Brexit PM is trying to ram her vile#BetrayalAgreement past 650 swamp dwellers. A sense of perspective would be useful at this point.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

It’s called black humour. It never translates well outside the group.
-
If Corbyn has anything about him he would say it’s a joke, he’s not offended and get on with life. Ingratiating himself with the military and public in one stroke.

If it is true and not fake news then it may well be a reaction to his support of the IRA who killed if you recall quite a few of the parachute regiment and his further support for various terrorist organisations these guys may have to face for us one day?
-
Put down your Daily Mail.
-
IRA didn't kill anyone, heard it here first
