Do you know what really annoys me? How many people come up to me at business events, in the street, the supermarket or at parties & whisper “I voted Brexit too but I can’t let anyone at work or my friends know.” Voting to Leave the EU isn’t something to be ashamed of. 1/3

What does it say about the state of our politics that so many people feel the need to hide how they voted when their views represent the MAJORITY view? No one should ever have to hide their political views in a free democracy. I’m proud to be a Brexiteer. Aren’t you? 3/3

I have leave friends, so I asked them why did you vote for it? Just a curious question, not wanting to start a debate. They all replied with the same answer: f...g EU people coming over to steal our jobs, they can f..k off home. That was the only thing they replied with.

No it wasn’t

You should offer your services to stand as an no for the brexit party should the time come

If they didn’t vote Leave because they’re stupid or racist, and they still want to leave, all they have to do is outline their non stupid, non racist reasons for wanting to leave the EU. They’ve had years to formulate their arguments so it shouldn’t be difficult.

I’d be more ashamed of myself if I’d voted remain

If they keep quiet about voting for Brexit, they ARE stupid. Shout it from the fucking rooftops!! Let the snowflake Remoaners know you can think for yourself and are unafraid to challenge their ludicrous beliefs.pic.twitter.com/WWEuobm1rF

Has your policy of calling ppl ‘Remoaners’ stopped now? Or are you avoiding it for this specific tweet bc it would be embarrassingly hypocritical when you’re trying to drum up the
#Brexit victim hood narrative#HatelySpewer ? Is pride, face saving the only weapon left? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

No. If they stay quiet about it, isn’t it likely that they can’t make a supportive argument for their view because their decision is emotional rather than a logical?
-
Quite the opposite. I have Remain friends who clearly don’t know the first thing about the EU, but just voted Remain because it is the liberal way of “thinking”. A sort of warm and fuzzy, all in together feel. Where do you start with such ill informed, emotive people?

If I hear another Remainer say that people voting Brexit did not know what they were voting for or are from the far right. Just for the record I did and I’m not.

I wouldn’t call anyone stupid because of the way they voted, however I have to say the majority that voted remain are actually ignorant as to what the EU actually is

Leave voters ARE different to Brexiteers Julia. Generally leave voters are artisans who could bring the country to a standstill if they withdrew their labour. If most remainers downed tools, they'd be about as effective a strike by poets or sculptors.
