Its not exactly a hard task is it? To stand by what you promised. But few seem able to do it so duplicitous are they.

When duplicity is considered an asset in politics and standing for things is seen as a burden, what do we expect? The media's attempts to vilify anything outside a politically correct narrative shape such disingenuous blandness

The Tory manifesto of 2017 did not receive majority backing. Amazing how many people forget that this is a minority government.
-
Not relevant. The Brexit vote, DID get a majority vote. Ergo, we should leave the EU even though it’s the wrong decision. It’s called democracy; some countries think it’s a good way to operate.
-
Also, they are still the government. Majority or not. So should implement their manifesto commitments. All MPs should try to.

The conservatives did not win a majority and therefore there is no mandate to deliver their manifesto.pic.twitter.com/71IyUWYKXO

Under that logic they shouldn't even be in government then. No minority or coalition can ever exist because there would be no mandate from an electoral majority. Except thats not how things work and your talking nonsense just because you disagree with Brexit

It seems to me the use of words like, "extreme", is very common place, with those using such words having little understanding of the meaning or where and how to use them!

This is the problem with the establishment they don’t think we the uneducated little people should be involved in democracy. It’s above our level to want to hold MPs to account for their decisions. It’s just so extreme !
-
Agree. And you've also nicely summed up the attitude of the EU Parliament.
