I mean, what the hell does this guy know about medicines, huh? Just the latest reality check in the wake of the usual scaremongering nonsense about the fake risks of a WTO Brexit.pic.twitter.com/knwnQZMXAQ

Anyone capable of the most rudimentary research can see the 'Henny Penny' panic stories are complete nonsense. They're all based on the premise that no one would do anything and no one wants to sell anything. #CompleteCobblers

He’s not a pharmacist or a supply chain manager he’s a paediatrician so likely knows very little about the stocks of medicine . Being able to prescribe is not the same as controlling the supply. You are quite dim aren’t you?

I worked in a hospital pharmacy for 15yrs+ and I can confirm that medics defer to pharmacists and/or suppliers for information. RPSGB have already warned on consequences of shortages, particularly chemo, insulin and radiopharmaceuticals.

Remainers seem to be so irrational that they would stockpile medicines and top themselves just to blame something on Brexit

Oh hang on let’s rewind. Plus the issue is that as local pharmacies following published guidelines have already began taking precautions there will be a knock on effect on supply and I can’t think what the Chief Medical officer might not know about it and the source is not a dig!pic.twitter.com/QF8tXEYbEf

Straight from the horses mouth in the form of the Health Sec. Matt Hancock. Yet again people trying to make a story out of 'what ifs'......fearmongering at it's worst with sick people. I tend to believe Matt Hancock.

As an ex health care professional I know exactly who should be listened to and it’s not a politician and to be fair the CMO was being interviewed and challenged by a Brexit supporting journalist prepared to listenhttps://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.lbc.co.uk/radio/presenters/nick-ferrari/chief-medical-officer-medicine-no-deal-brexit/ …

I think he's saying people don't have to stockpile because the state's done that already. Of course, that could just be to calm a run on medication...
