In a post to please nobody, further to tweets about this morning, here is the Deane verdict on a fried breakfast; ESSENTIAL Toast Fried/scrambled egg Beans (do not even think about serving without) Bacon Sausage OPTIONAL Hash browns Tomato NOT REQUIRED Mushroom Black pudding
-
-
No, Alex has correctly put them in the 'not required' category. No mushroom should ever be allowed near a fried breakfast.
-
They stink and ruin everything else even if put on the plate in order to be pushed aside as any sane person will do

Fried bread in addition to toast is essential. As is black pudding.

Love fried bread. BP = in bin

I never thought I'd find an issue more divisive than Brexit

Black pudding is essential. Deal breaker.

No deal has always been fine

Carl and I seemingly disagree on Brexit, but I will fight by his side on this point! Who knows, we might unite the UK people on this point alone - Black pudding is essential! Never mind deal or no deal, revoking article 50 or another referendum, this is the hill we'll die on!

Bin the beans. 2 Sausage, 1 egg, 2 bacon, mushrooms, fried tomato (1 half) toast (2 halves diagonal) and fried bread (1 half diagonal) HP sauce. Plenty white pepper.

The only mushrooms with breakfast should be devilled.

Black pudding must be raw, not that chewy cooked crap
