@Iromg After that statement from Theresa May, I needed inspiration. I put on the Spencer Davis group, Keep on running.... Stevie Winwood was 16 when he recorded that vocal.
WTF has become of our country? We infantilise adults now, no wonder MPs are so flipping useless.

After 3 years to say "I'm on your dide", and "people want us to get on with it", borders on arrogance and a lack of understanding. Begging for an extension makes the position, the government, parliament and worse, the nation, look incompetent, indecisive and foolish
-
And perhaps, just perhaps, she is telling Tusk what to do with his deal, without actually saying it. By allowing the time to run down she can say to the EU, "Well, I did my best" Just a thought.
-
Yes, a thought but are you convinced when the line is and has been accept the EU deal I negotiated or nothing?
-
If 'Nothing' means default and assuming she knows 'Her' deal (i.e. EU's deal) is not fit for purpose, then implementing No Deal is the best option. If you were her would you reveal that to Tusk etc? And no, I'm not convinced, just hoping I'm right.
-
Either that or she has at last realized majority of the nation is pi$$ed off with the prevarication, posturing, posing and political meanderings over the last 2.5 years

It’s amazing that she doesn’t realise the contempt all sides have for her ! If she had the Balls to be honest with all of us ! then I’d have a little sympathy for her

Yep and then we crash out next Friday ? I know lots of you of your persuasion will celebrate but for me it will mean the country I love ceases to be next Friday, I will be one of her citizens of nowhere and anyone wanting a cohesive nation shouldn’t celebrate that
-
Fk cohesion. The result was the result .If a party wins a general election but 60%of people didn't actually vote 4 it ( like wot happens all the time) does that mean 60% of its policies should be decided by other parties?

Is there going to be another vote next week on her deal? I was under the impression that any further vote had been blocked.
