There will not be a “substantially” deal to be put to the vote, because this is the best we will ever get from Europe. So it will have to be a no deal Brexit on 29th March.
-
I hope this has forced a no deal brexit. Then negotiations can start
-
Given that it took Canada and the EU 7 years to negotiate a Free Trade Deal which is demonstrably inferior to both our current arrangements and those which we would like, I would not expect a swift resolution. Meanwhile, I'm sure you'll be happy to be worse off for the duration.
-
To not be under control if Brussels. Yes indeed
-
In what way do you feel under control of Brussels now? And how do you think our relationship with the EU will change once we're out? I'm genuinely interested to know what you think, and also the basis for your argument.
-
For a start we are subject to the European court of justice. That’s quite enough for me without mentioning Lisbon treaty which although not fully implemented yet will be. No veto over Eu citizens freely coming into uk. We cannot choose who comes Enough said
-
The ECJ only applies in some areas. The Lisbon Treaty has been in force since 2009 and fully implemented since 2017. If you have been reading about Lisbon 2020 you have been lied to. You should ask yourself what else they have lied to you about.
-
I’m sorry I disagree with you and as we will never see each other’s point of view I will not engage with you further. I hope that democracy is upheld. It is not in the Eu.

Brexit betrayal? That’s rich! If today’s deal isn’t a betrayal of what was proposed in 2016 then I don’t know what Is! John Bercow following rules & speaking good sense has nothing whatsoever to do with ‘betrayal’, ‘spanners’ or any other such nonsense!

Why is it a Brexit betrayal. You can’t keep asking people to vote for something until you get the result you want in a democracy and this deal is not what Brexiteers want so they should delighted?

You're angry because people have been denied the chance to vote on something they had previously voted on because the realise the alternative is not what they want. Interesting, I assume this is general principle you have?

You remind me of my aunty , she’s a cold hearted sociopath . I find it strangely endearing tho . Nothing beats a ruthless woman especially one that happens to be a morally bankrupt Tory . Literally one of my favourite things

No doubt there will be a mechanism to circumvent Bercow's decision. But what has he actually done in reality? He's stopped May bringing forward her deal that would have been voted down again anyway. So more froth over substance, little more than a moment of political theatre.

It's farcical for you to be talking about BREXIT BETRAYAL. You could've read up the constitution or parliamentary rules before making such claims. BERCOW as the speaker simply made the right choice. You cannot keep voting for the same thing till you get a different result.
