@DrAdrianHeald how lovely to see Bercow rattle her cage

Julia displaying remarkable ignorance again, I am always surprised she is called a journalist and not a loud mouthed radio personality without much understanding, without the ability to research and an inflated opinion of herself
-
God, you Remoaners are so tragically predictable. I’m not ignorant you total and utter womble. It’s called a “joke”. Do you know what they are? The long winter nights must just fly by in the Heald household...
-
If you aren't ignorant, then you do a good impression. But reassuring to see that your "jokes" are as bad as your comprehension. Shouldn't you worry a bit more about all those chocolate eggs on Easter than about nights in my household? I always thought your "research" was a joke

When are we allowed a referendum on not hearing from you again?
-
Every moment you’re logged into Twitter you can vote against hearing from me ever again:pic.twitter.com/eDyeK9sg9D
-
And you, Julia, can choose not to listen to John Bercow. Same thing.
-
No I can’t.
-
You cannot switch off Bercow’s influence on public affairs. I cannot switch off your influence on public affairs. But at least Bercow is subject to the ballot box.
-
Cobblers.....the Speaker always stands unopposed
-
Well, that’s simply not true. And pretty easy to find out. In the 2017 general election, for example, 3 other parties/candidates stood and took 34.9% of the vote. https://democracy.buckscc.gov.uk/mgElectionAreaResults.aspx?XXR=0&ID=313&RPID=0 …

Julia, you didn’t want the deal anyway. Now here’s the Speaker of our Sovereign Parliament invoking a 17C law made in our Sovereign Parliament to save you from a deal you believe gives away control. THIS is
#TakingBackControl. Truth is, we’d never lost it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

If precedent is set that you can't have the same vote on the same agreement or question without substantial change, Does that mean having voted against a 2nd referendum, that that is it for that question too?

Good point. That seems logical. Presumably, the "No Deal off the table" stands, too, but it has no practical consequence when all we have is MV 1/2/...

-
Or is it, that both the amendments on second ref and no deal are not legally binding without legislation, but just can't be asked again? All confusing.https://twitter.com/Neil_Veck/status/1107678647773732864?s=19 …
-
My understandIng is that none of them were legally binding. However, they'd have given PM justification to try to introduce another statute to revoke or redefine a date for Article 50

I thought you wanted parliamentary sovereignty Julia. She's now forced to change something you hated anyway. What's the problem? "I don't want those thweets...I want the thweets I didn't previously want...wah ..wah..."
