      Hi Julia do you know for sure that cancer treatment will be unaffected after Brexit I am sure cancer patients are not sharing your blind acceptance that it is all going to be great after Brexit

      I'm on life saving drugs to prevent my cancer returning. The thought of losing access to them post Brexit absolutely terrifies me. How can people like JHB be so glib about this?! Saddens and infuriates me in equal measure.

      Have you considered it’s just scaremongering? No companies are threatening to pull supply, the only concern seems to be port checks and the boss of Calais port has said contingencies are in place.

          A lot of Cancer drugs we used are solely m’factured in Holland. We leave on ‘No Deal’ terms=goods have to be checked at Dutch customs. These drugs have a v.short shelf life, so any delay is bad. It’s the Same with certain types of insulin for type 1 diabetes. #projectreality

          Because supply of medicine is governed by strict regulatory rules. If something is missing medicine isn’t shipped. It’s not like rocking up to a radio studio and bullshitting into a microphone.

          I'd suggest anyone jeopardising the day to day running of the health service for no discernible benefit should be ashamed of themselves. I'd also suggest non medically trained people don't get to tell medically trained people what counts as hysteria when it comes to medicine
