Because it trips up over itself to be politically correct first... Think of all the wonderful historical TV comedies that wouldn't make it on air in the current climate... Classic Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers, Porridge, Allo Allo and the Carry On Movies...
-
They even cut bits out of on the buses ffs.... ''offended' no, just sad boring on e dimensional indoctrinates..

I dont watch comic relief or children in need, but just how many anti brexit anti trump jokes were in it, did any one count? It seems since 2016 the output of the bbc has been almost entirely negative and hateful for those two issues.

We’re not allowed proper comedy anymore in case it offends someone
-
Nail on head.
-
Why does "proper comedy" have to offend people? Are they unable to be amusing unless they are pointing the finger at any "other"? Quite limited, frankly.
-
It doesn’t and what I said was in case it offends anyone not that it should offend anyone, look historically at some of the classics that wouldn’t run today for fear of being offensive, doesn’t necessarily mean they are finger pointing either
