Correction: he’s a SENIOR law lecturer (or a “law senior lecturer”, as he rather weirdly calls it)

Nobody should mistake intelligence for common sense. A lecturer I admire greatly thought we should join the Euro "so that he wouldn't have to change money to go on holiday."

Yet oddly it doesn't make him wise. They call it trump derangement syndrome. It's basically they thinking is they disavow others, they'll be somehow saved from any fallback. Hedgehogs the lot of them.

The shooter has literally told us he did what he did because of the inevitable scapegoating that would ensue and increasing polarisation. This isn’t some Xanatos gambit to get the far right off the hook, he KNEW that political extremes can’t help but weaponise a tragedy.

None of these academics ever consider why these more extreme people become prominent - they give a disenfranchised populace a voice, there are many reasons, bias against the indigenous people, loss of said heritage and culture etc....

This conflation is too obvious to most sensible people and we can dismiss it, unfortunately the ones who can't are the people who do things like yesterday, shame on him for trying to inflame a tragic situation.

Well he should reflect on @LennyHenry calling a white president disparaging words regarding his intellect - how is that ok when calling a black MP the same is racist. Seems the real racists are easier to spot than we think 🤔😡

Just shows that one doesn’t need to have the slightest intelligence to become an academic. One just needs a great memory. Maybe he didn’t engage his massive brain before opening his large gob.
