I believe the point they are trying to make is that climate change is a major threat that will impact our lives. They fear that nothing will be the same and people's lives are at stake. Especially those on low lying islands in the Pacific, those living in extreme climates etc.

About what? Climate change? The thing 99% of all scientists agree on? Or is this another mistrust of experts thing going on.

You're right. Scientists are known to have been primarily motivated by the pursuit of money all their lives. That's why they chose science. Thank God the multinational oil, gas and car companies, highly lobbied politicians and billionaire right wing press have seen through them.

They are. But then their peers review the papers prior to publication and any papers not up to scratch are refused. So there’s that.

Oh mate. There aren’t two sides to a fact. It’s just the accepted science as continuously supported by test results. There is no other opinion just other variables to test. This is the problem with science. It’s so simple people try to over complicate it.

Dear Julia Hartley-Twat, Au contraire, today's children are extremely well-informed, knowledgeable & free-thinking, despite relentless propaganda pumped out by our chronically un-free press. Basically, the kids are alright. You, on the other hand, make a virtue out of ignorance.
