Those were also the promises *they* made Julia, certainly in the case of Tory Remainers at GE17.

Remember May's "There will be no staying in the EU by the back door" Just before she spent the next 2 years trying to stay in the EU by the back door The woman is a lying charlatan

Remainers don't actually believe a word May says but if it's any consolation to you she is a Remainer at heart so she will steer Brexit onto the rocks.

Not just the PM, but the MPs made them too when they stood on the party manifesto

Aaaahhh...but you have to remember - Remainer lies are not the same as Leaver lies just as Remainer democracy is totally different from Leaver democracy.

I wonder, are so many of our elected MP's remain, even though many of their constituencies voted to leave, because MP's will actually have to do some work? Perhaps we should go with the flow and remain in the EU we can then close down the HofC and HofL

Exactly, moaning about her not keeping to her word, what about the promise to Leave the EU in 2016, that manifesto promise is the main one, priorities are showing up now, for themselves only!

She made promises she had no mandate for. I've sent you the video of Boris saying he was voting for the single market a dozen times. Why do you ignore this?
-
He's not the prime minister

-
Boris was the figurehead behind the entire Leave campaign. His position pre-referendum is therefore abosily crucial and material in determining what 'the people' were voting for and thus May's mandate.
-
So was David Cameron, in his position as PM, he was the only person in the whole campaign to have an opinion that in any way could be treated as legitimate and actionable
-
Every time Cameron spoke, he was dismissed by Leave as Project Fear. And we (I) believed him. The point here (let's talk high level pls) is there's no bloody mandate by trickery. If the People didn't understand, then they didn't understand. End of. "Tough" doesn't cut it.
-
And yet, he was lauded by the Remain campaign. If people didn’t understand, so what. Tough not only cuts it, it’s entirely the point.
-
I know you don't like context but 'End of' is used to explain the overriding blunt important of the concept of informed consent.
-
Yes. Isn’t it great when that happens.
