Coverage of the Ethiopian crash is grimly revealing. Every headline focuses on the 7 Brits lost rather than the 149 people in total. Every story has a picture of the white woman who died. If no Brit had been on that plane it wouldn't have made the front page.

If you take a look at the Kenyan newspapers today you’ll see that they’ve focused on the Kenyans who’ve died in the crash. Bugger all to do with the colour of anyone’s skin. Very much to do with people everywhere being more interested in their own countrymen than anyone else.

Wow your followers are nice. Makes a change waking up to hundreds of angry right wingers calling be a knob rather than hundreds of Corbynistas I guess.

(Also not true as it happens the Kenyan media seem to be leading on 19 UN staff being killed at the moment. But obviously have far more coverage in general than we do).

Some of the Kenyan papers... bloody racists focussing on Kenyans not Ethiopians.pic.twitter.com/mEuzMN9TUT

I didn't use the word racist by the way. And only one of those front pages only mentions the Kenyan dead. And they all have a picture of the crash.

Two of them lead with the 32 Kenyan dead. The third has it as the lead bullet point. You were the one who mentioned the British woman’s skin colour. Why else would it be relevant?

My point wasn't that they shouldn't mention that Brits died it was that most of them (Guardian and Independent excepted) didn't mention anyone else.

The first paragraph of every news story I’ve read on this crash has stated that 157 people died.

The Mail front page only features a picture of Joanna Toole. Most of the others mention the 157 figure but don't mention any nationality (let alone individual) other than Brits and the Irish man.

The Daily Mail front page is a photo caption not a news article. I really do think you’re mistaken on this, Sam.
