Julia: "If you do want to stop Brexit be honest about it. Tell the British people: ‘We think you’re stupid, probably racist, and we know better than you.’"

Brexiteers who lied & mislead the UK electorate since 2016 should be made to apologise & admit to their supporters they were being disingenuous with their rhetoric, Brexit was not possible & then apologise to the electorate if this country with common sense for wasting our time
-
Oh yes of course, all politicians tell the truth. I do feel your hurt but the vote stands.
-
Brexiteer financiers are slowly heading to jail or skipping the country

Dear Julia, I'm not quite sure who I could support to punish their opponent. Certainly neither of the 2 main parties. They are both divided within and hell bent on short term gain. Individuals posturing for position throughout. With a few exceptions of course.
-
feel exactly the same - betrayed by both main parties, partic May - will prob vote Green tho, or a pro Brexit candidate, rather than not using my vote

What is the point in voting if the people who lost the vote won’t recognise it or implement it? Democracy has gone
-
Because that is exactly what they want ,we shouldn't have to i agree, but clearly the elite and those in the westminster bubble think they can just ignore and sh*t on you and your rights and then pat you on the head and send you back to work like a nice thick little waif .
-
It’s not just the elite though now... brexits mess is caused by the refusal to accept the result.. the precedent has been set
-
So why should you have to accept theirs because they didn't like the result of the first ? they are no better or more important than you , you give in if you want a'j but i wont let anyone bully me into voting into how they think i should , no fcking chance mate
-
I know you're not going to like this but the reason the vote hasn't been "implemented" is because even Leavers don't likes the deal on the table. No deal is a minority view and wasn't even discussed during the referendum.
-
"No Deal" is a ridiculous tag in itself. Every single issue can be resolved and agreed after 29/3. Short term.
-
Pah. Using a Brexiter definition of "every single issue" no doubt. The pressure on the UK to get it's act together would continue. It would be a mess.
-
It will be a mess if this result get's ignored and the minority get to tell the majority how we should continue , let that sink in for a minute and then think about any future vote or g/e and how pointless it would be . Why would anyone ever respect any vote in the future .

Christ..some of the bellends who pour into this thread...sometimes makes me wish we could take the vote from some people.
-
Thanks for contributing to this thread.
-
I did caveat/ exclude myself to some degree with the use of the keyword 'some'. Thanks for taking the time to respond anyhow.

But who would we vote for? I can’t think of one person I would trust after everything that’s gone on. Unless a new party is formed. (I would never vote for a party with Anna Soubry in it) I don’t think I could vote Conservative again.
-
And the likes of Morgan, Grieve, Wollaston, Allen, Rudd, Boles, Gauke and Greening
