No, an innocent child has sadly died because his mother decided to join the Islamic State death cult and get knocked up by a jihadi terrorist while living in a medieval caliphate. Her choice, her responsibility.https://twitter.com/HackneyAbbott/status/1104104541740507138 …

I can’t believe you’d respond to that. What kind of human being are you?
-
One that hasn’t joined a terrorist organisation
-
Bloody hell. You’re sinking lower and lower by the second. Innocent child born to UK citizen who is a criminal. Child dies. “Nothing to do with us, Guv”. What the fuck is wrong with you?
-
It’s sad for the baby but it’s nothing to do with us
-
The whole “Katie Hopkins” wanna be thing is getting tiresome now. You wanna be a contrarian, yeah we get it.
-
I hate to be the one to break this to you but my views on this will not be remotely contrarian. Maybe in your little echo chamber, but not for the rest of us. Please stop following me if you don’t want to see my tweets. Bye.
-
"I hate to be the one to break this to you" but when decent people challenge you, other people who follow them get to see your tweets. "Stop following me", indeed. Such a monstrous ego for one who has so little to offer.

It could have been worse for the poor child. At least Julia Hartley Brewer isn’t the child’s mother

She is but she is not the only one. If a mother is not fit to raise a child the state takes the child away. Child has rights. Read and learn, then apologise. https://www.unicef.org/rightsite/files/rights_leaflet.pdf …

It is sad for the child, but the parents bear the responsibility. It is also unlikely they would have got back to the UK in time if they had been making their own way back. It is so wrong of Diane Abbott to try to score points with this case
-
Would she not have been lodged at an embassy or consulate in the meantime?
-
I really don’t know, I have no idea what facilities are available if any in Syria & distance to them. I guess it would have depended if she was being brought back by the British government or having to make her own arrangements which is what others have done
-
She had no means of making her own way back as Javid stripped her (anf by extension the baby) of having British citizenship.
-
No, I thought the point was if she hadn’t had it taken away. I was not in favour citizenship being removed as I believe she is our problem &the UK should deal with her. However, I also believe it is up to her to make her own way back as others have done

Sad? It is awful! And whether we like it or not......the baby was a British citizen.

She made her decisions. The State made theirs. Each is responsible for their actions & both contributed to his death. That you seek to excuse one wrong by pointing at the other is kind of sick.

the government had a chance to save the child and it chose not to. The government is responsible

The government protects the children of irresponsible parents all the time. Why was this child singularly undeserving of protection?

The ‘but’ is doing a lot of work there. A child died. Stop it
