No, an innocent child has sadly died because his mother decided to join the Islamic State death cult and get knocked up by a jihadi terrorist while living in a medieval caliphate. Her choice, her responsibility.https://twitter.com/HackneyAbbott/status/1104104541740507138 …

It is against international law to make someone stateless, and now an innocent child has died as a result of a British woman being stripped of her citizenship. This is callous and inhumane http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47500387 …

This is a difficult one. Although @HackneyAbbott is making a cheap political point; as a parent and grandparent, that little boy has died unnecessarily. She could have been brought back (to face justice) but international politics got in the way. This is sad for an innocent child

She is but she is not the only one. If a mother is not fit to raise a child the state takes the child away. Child has rights. Read and learn, then apologise. https://www.unicef.org/rightsite/files/rights_leaflet.pdf …

It is sad for the child, but the parents bear the responsibility. It is also unlikely they would have got back to the UK in time if they had been making their own way back. It is so wrong of Diane Abbott to try to score points with this case

I really don’t know, I have no idea what facilities are available if any in Syria & distance to them. I guess it would have depended if she was being brought back by the British government or having to make her own arrangements which is what others have done

She had no means of making her own way back as Javid stripped her (anf by extension the baby) of having British citizenship.

No, I thought the point was if she hadn’t had it taken away. I was not in favour citizenship being removed as I believe she is our problem &the UK should deal with her. However, I also believe it is up to her to make her own way back as others have done

She made her decisions. The State made theirs. Each is responsible for their actions & both contributed to his death. That you seek to excuse one wrong by pointing at the other is kind of sick.
