'Amber Rudd calling Diane Abbott coloured must not be swept under the carpet'http://bit.ly/2TEin1j

I didn't ask you to delete your tweet, nor did I report it. I'm just opposing your blatant (and public) disregard for the power of language when it comes to being "coloured" and "not-coloured".
-
Gosh, aren’t I lucky that you haven’t reported me. I’m soooooo grateful. I absolutely understand why that word is loaded. This was debated yesterday. I don’t believe you (or Diane) think there was any ill intent. That’s why she should let it go.

Your condescending tone makes u a bit of a twitter troll. Nevertheless, the ill-intent of such slip ups used to be (kinda) okay till they started happening almost every week against a backdrop of questionable patriotism/nationalism - whatever way you want to wash it.
-
You have to understand that the trauma of race injustice transcends generations. You don't have to get it, but you mustn't belittle it. Out of respect, not to shut you or anyone down - this isn't a PC debate.
