All credit to @sharrond62 for speaking out on this issue. This isn’t an anti-trans issue, this is simply about keeping sport fair...https://twitter.com/sharrond62/status/1101618115291594752 …

I have nothing against anyone who wishes 2be transgender. However I believe there is a fundamental difference between the binary sex u r born with & the gender u may identify as. To protect women’s sport those with a male sex advantage should not be able 2compete in women’s sport

Women should start a movement and refuse to compete against a transgender. It is a form of cheating

Women have been talking about this for a long time. However, it usually results in doxxing and threats (including of rape) by a loud part of the transgender lobby. It's why this a/c of mine is anonymous. I'm protecting my family. Women need support now more than ever.

Disgraceful. If you have been born as a boy, then nature will see you develop the frame of a man. When I see Rachel McKinnon standing on a rostrum, that's not the body of a woman. Drugs are banned to stop cheating and to create a level playing field. How is this different?

Indeed. It's really important that transpeople get the chance to compete in sports as much as the rest of us. Yet we have to find a way of doing it so that no one group suffers as a result. This is why the attempts to stop discussion worry me. How can we progress without that?

I think it’s down to fear. The TRAs know if any of these issues are discussed openly and without censorship reason will likely win the debate. That’s just what I keep coming back to. Otherwise why close down debate before it even begins?

I know women who are victims of DV. They say the tactics of TRAs are identical to the tactics of their exes: control, censorship, threats all based upon being pushed to it by women. If TRAs had any decent basis for their arguments they wouldn't need to resort to this.

And for gender critical feminist I think that is one of the most painful things to watch. Especially woke young women who don't realise how recently women had to fight for everything we have now. And they also foolishly giving it all away again.

What women need to do is refuse to compete in any completion that has any transgender competitor in it. It is ludicrous pretending a man is now a woman and a woman is now a man if they have had to have surgery and treatment to achieve their desired gender.
