It's us who chose to leave their club, not the other way around. We are the neighbours that have suddenly started playing loud music as 4 O'clock in the morning

Agree. I hate the "The EU is doing this to us" type shite. We are the ones throwing our toys out of the pram.
-
Exactly, try leaving their gym and demanding to come back in and use their equipment without signing up again and see how they get on.

-
But our elected governments did.
-
No they didn't Angela Merkel and her cronies did
-
This is not true.
-
Oh yes it is. If you have time Watch David Davis giving evidence in the committee rooms on Parliamentlive 16th Jan It gives exactly who runs thw EU
-
Then you don’t understand how the EU works.
-
How it works? Germany rules okay! Watch the recording Dont be mislead by thinking our EU mp's have a decision making role Why do yo think the German Chancellor features so prominently?
-
You’re not making any sense. The German chancellor has one vote, the same as any other E.U. country head.

UK voted to leave EU so why the hell should they make it easy & allow UK to cherry pick all the good bits of being part of the best trading club in the world! Being in a marriage is never perfect, it's all about give & take!? UK is no longer an empire & it's arrogance is despised
-
Oh well, better to abide by our masters then? We chose to leave, EU is entitled to let us "cherry pick", so we won't. On the same note we are entitled to leave with no deal

-
As a financial analyst I have worked around the world within oil sector for 35 years.
You obviously don't understand the complexities financial & other that will ensue.
You can't turn the clock back to some utopia moment pre 1973 the world & the rest of us have moved on

-
Really? So why be tied to the EU when the UK is more than capable of succeeding on its own? The EU is dragging the UK down and needs to be cut free.
