Just approaching the border between France and Switzerland...

No you didn’t, but people can draw conclusions on such messages that elements can simply be copied and pasted for Britain which may not be possible due to those factors. So let’s not cite examples from very specific cases because Britain itself is a new specific case.
-
Like Trump supporters, Brexit supporters rely on making highly simplistic statements that sound like facts, but aren't. This is simply another one.
-
I don’t blame or demonize supporters on either side. There may be valid arguments which can’t be discounted. But the danger of spinning over-simplified messages is dangerous regardless if it comes from left or right.
-
But people need to be aware. If the uk adopted a Swiss deal. They get less control than what the uk has now. Makes a mockery of the taking back control and unelected eu beaucrate rhetoric...
-
So, be prepared to walk away from a rubbish offer? Sound like good advice.
-
Not quite. So you live in a great house but there are things that bug you so you put in an offer for another property only to discover it's got dry rot and the roof is shit so you pull out. Trouble is you've sold your nice house so the only option is homelessness. That's Brexit.

Yes. Yes, you did. Why else would you have made that simplistic observation?
-

It’s not what you said but it’s what you were SUGGESTING.
-
Oh look, I crossed into Switzerland with my little bag of clothes & it's so easy.........
Try doing it in an 18 wheeled truck full over goods & see how many HOURS you will be at that border.pic.twitter.com/OPnXjarpcB

You know exactly what you’re doing with your tweet
@JuliaHB1 and it’s so disingenuous. And simplistic. -
Yep, life’s complicated. BUT ONLY IF YOU MAKE IT THAT WAY. Julia is correct in drawing a parallel.
-
There is already a way to make the border between the UK and France really simple. It’s called membership of the European Union. By drawing a parallel she is effectively proposing that the UK not leave.

You can't have it both ways: you can't imply and then say you didn't, because it means you're either very devious or very stupid. But if you do want to play the ignorant card: fine. You're a very stupid woman for saying something and not realising its implications.

Julia, I skied from cervinia to Zermatt in December. Most days. Driving back from Italy, through mont blanc tunnel and finally toward Geneva airport, I drove through the hard border and had my car searched by police with guns. I then paid the CHF 40 vignette fee and moved on

That was the very clear and intended implication of the meaningless twaddle you just posted.
