If you’re a Cabinet minister who doesn’t agree with your own government’s main policy (which was a key manifesto pledge in the last election that you stood on) then you probably shouldn’t be a Cabinet minister in that government any more. #justsayinghttps://twitter.com/SkyNewsBreak/status/1099067975171219456 …

Not really a manifesto pledge is it? I know you Brexity types love a slogan, but it doesn't actually mean anything specific. Where was no deal spelled out and explained? You know, so people didn't think it just meant status quo?

Yes but thats an outright lie because no deal isnt better than a bad deal. We now know no deal is catastrophic where as a bad deal is welll... just bad!
-
What part is catastrophic? And for who, specifically?

All Brexit deals are worse than what we currently have. No deal is the worst option of all in terms of our national welfare.
-
I suppose a deal in which we had to all kill ourselves would be worse than no deal, so the slogan “no deal is better than a bad deal” just about holds water

No meal is better than a bad meal. The slogan of the brexit death cult. No legs are better than bad legs. No house is better than a bad house. Yes those are garbage too.

Define bad deal. No deal is better than a bad deal, is just a bunch of words with no meaning, along the lines of Brexit means Brexit. It has no substance, no meaning unless we can quantify it. Let’s throw the question further

Manifestos don’t always get followed plus the MPs are doing their job and protecting the U.K. from dumbass brexiteers

By agreeing WA with EU27, cabinet have clearly defined this WA as being better than no deal, so there’s no contradiction with any manifesto commitment in any of them pushing to rule out ND now Smarter take would recognise ND now mainly about domestic leverage on MPs to pass WA

That’s not a manifesto pledge. It’s a worthless slogan. That fact that it appears in a manifesto is shameful.

We really have to stop saying “no deal”. It’s so easily misunderstood. How about: Brexit without any kind of Deal Brexit with May’s Deal Keep the Deal we have.

Let these MPs that are trying to block no deal go on TV and explain why. Blocking it just be sure they do not want to leave with a deal or no deal is not a good enough reason.
