If you’re a Cabinet minister who doesn’t agree with your own government’s main policy (which was a key manifesto pledge in the last election that you stood on) then you probably shouldn’t be a Cabinet minister in that government any more. #justsayinghttps://twitter.com/SkyNewsBreak/status/1099067975171219456 …

That says that the future partnership should be agreed ALONGSIDE the withdrawal arrangements not separate to and years after we've left! The WA May has put before MPs means we still have years of wrangling about a trade deal! That was her first compromise to EU

But the elected Prime Minister has negotiated a deal she claims is better than a bad deal, and better than no-deal.
-
And the whole manifesto lead on "Our Plan for a Stronger Britain and a Prosperous Future". What part of a no-deal Brexit hitting GDP by 8% is delivering 'a Prosperous Future'?

the one in their donors pockets I imagine

You can't pick and choose the bits of the manifesto you want to agree with. It said both that they would go for a good deal, and that no deal is better than a bad deal. Parliament has decided it is a bad deal.
-
But they lost their majority and right to implement their manifesto without compromising with other parties. So parliament can literally pick and choose the bits of the manifesto they want to agreed with. Depends what the government wants to get passed.
-
How do you figure that a loss of majority means they don't get held to their manifesto? They still got the most seats. They still formed the government.
-
Because if they don't have a majority they can't implement that manifesto without co-operation (subject to amendment's). being able to form a minority government doesn't equate to being able to pass legislation.
-
Which is exactly why they made a confidence and supply agreement with the DUP, to ensure that they did have a majority. May did form a majority government, she just did so supported by the DUP.

"No deal is better than a bad deal" isn't a pledge to leave with no deal. It's purely a subjective comparison.

But a good deal trumps both of those!!! Britain needs a strong and stable government to get the best Brexit deal for our country and its people.

Leave’s manifesto said we would have a deal before Art 50.

Leaving without a deal would also be in breach of the "smooth and orderly Brexit" (given we are woefully underprepared for a No Deal scenario, so, by this logic, proceeding WITH No Deal should result in resignations also.

So who has said that this is a bad deal? Certainly not the Prime Minister, who is also the one who said that No Deal is better than a bad one. If she doesn’t consider it a bad deal, it’s surely better than No Deal.
