Generally, the winners don’t take to the streets to protest the result of a vote.https://twitter.com/gavinesler/status/1096859567353413637 …

Amazing, not only does she know what all the people who voted leave expect she also seems to know what all remain voters think should now happen, how does she do it?If I didn’t know better I’d say she was making it up!O no that’s right,I do know better, she’s definitely making it up

Yep... a Remoaner and not a Remainer

So how do you define those that respected the result but now want a final vote on what people actually 'want'? Guven Brexit was never defined, the Leave vote comprised many different variations of "Brexit". And if their version of Brexit cant be delivered, what is their fallback?
-
Br(itain)Exit. It really couldn't be clearer. UK voted to leave EU. Westminster voted to have Art. 50 triggered, thus starting the 2 year notice period. They then voted for EU Withdrawal Bill. At no point from ref onwards were caveats included about there needing to be 'a deal'.
-
Just checking. You respect the fact that your sovereign parliament voted Article 50 but I bet you don’t respect the fact your sovereign parliament is now behaving. Do you ?
-
Behaving? Parliamentarians can do whatever they wish, it's their right, however, those who ignore the result of the referendum and attempt to negate it will have a price to pay further down the road. That's ok with me too.
-
Indeed. We vote them in to make decisions for us The fact that every manifesto in living memory has been gone back on one way or another means you shouldn’t be surprised they are not doing exactly what you want them to now
-
That's a very phlegmatic approach to take towards a subject which is regularly described by its opponents as a national disaster and an existential threat to our way of life, especially for someone who only recently suggested that parliament had been guilty of misbehaviour.
-
My point is that people are saying that both parties went on a leave manifesto (which is true). Yet don’t point out this is by far not the first time a manifesto has been not carried out
-
To their credit, Labour's manifesto pledge ruled out No Deal as an option, so the argument that everyone who voted Labour or Conservative voted for the same Leave 'deal' is disingenuous.

You taking that stance seriously, really ??? And these extremists. Wouldn’t you actually agree that it’s not just the “remoaners” who are this, but a lot of leavers too, ornyou still sticking to your ordinal view from Friday
-
Are you a remainer remoaner?
-
Not sure. I respect the democracy of the result yet also think what one leaver votes for wasn’t what another leaver voted for beside of the lies (from both sides) Don’t know what that makes me to be honest.
-
Thanks Tony. A very fair and honest reply.
-
Wish more people could have a little honesty on both sides. Only then could there be a little common ground. But that’s a pipe dream at the moment. Too many “my way or no way” on both sides
-
Yes , common sense and compromise should be the way forward. I've wanted to leave for decades , but understand that reason must prevail. Thanks again Tony , for interesting and polite discussion.
-
It can be done
Thank you too and have a good day
