Yes yes, I know, we voted in 2016. But in 2016 we didn’t know what we were voting for. By March 23rd we’ll know the real alternatives: 1. A specific deal if the government gets its act together 2. No deal 3. Stay in Europe

You're a semi- clever woman. You know he meant EU, don't you?
-
Ah, but they are two very different entities. Remoaners often conflate our geographical location with a political union when they have nothing to do with each other. Most neighbouring nations in the world have trade deals but don’t allow their neighbours a say over their laws.
-
'Remoaners often conflate our geographical location with a political union when they have nothing to do with each other', ....whereas Leavers often have no clue about CU, SM, WTO and in your case think Brexit returns Sovereignty we had never lost. Time to end the madness.

The EU is the way in which Europe (of which we are indeed part) has chosen to organise itself. By turning our backs on the EU we are shunning our closest allies and friends. We will no longer be part of Europe in any meaningful sense after
#Brexit. We will be a sad little island -
Repeat after me the EU is not Europe & Europe is not the EU - clear?
-
You’re missing the point. In the context of a conversation on Brexit ‘in Europe’ means ‘in the EU’. Of course our geography doesn’t change! Surely it doesn’t need qualifying, does it??
@JuliaHB1 is being pedantic because she knows@RichardDawkins is right.#PutItToThePeople -
In the context of a Brexit discussion we need the terms used to be accurate. It is often a deliberate error. We are leaving the EU a federalist experiment NOT Europe.
-
Hmmmm. I suspect the vast majority (incl.
@JuliaHB1) understood that@RichardDawkins wasn’t suggesting we leave the continent of Europe but you’re right to say it can sometimes cause confusion if the language isn’t spot on. -
Im Canadian. I hardly follow this Brexit thing -yet i clearly knew by him saying Europe he was refering to European Union. Its like when people say The Hauge rather than the international criminal court. Its quits simple if u are capable of understanding context.
-
Absolutely. You would have thought this hardly needs saying.

Richard, If I were to vote in your referendum to ‘stay in Europe ‘ ie the EU please could you explain to me precisely what I would be voting for? EU army? Which currency? level of integration? Please set out the long term picture of what the EU will become so I can be 100% sure
-
Fascinating to see you’ve been sleep walking for the past 2.5 years if not your whole adult life. Why are you asking Richard? The truth about the E.U. is out there just not in the tabloids or from the likes of
@BorisJohnson@Jacob_Rees_Mogg@michaelgove@Nigel_Farage Look it up -
Remaining in the EU is a much bigger unknown quantity than is leaving. Given that the solution to any problem in Europe is always ‘more EU’ can you tell me what EU will look like in 30 years? This is our only chance to escape & if we fail to leave we’ll never be given it again

When you have nothing to add its best not to say anything.
-
The EU is not Europe. It's a political organisation.
-
Ricky, Im trying to work out if you genuinely meant that comment.

-
it's the truth, if that helps you........
-
At what point did I give the impression that I wasn't aware of this staggering fact? Clue - never.
-
You said Julia's comment added nothing to the conversation, when she was correcting Dawkins on his incorrect terminology.
-
Yes. Shall we move on. This is tedious.
