Did anyone *honestly* think it was to do with climate change?

I didn’t. Just work shy. Should be learning algebra or putting magnesium into a test tube. Shameful.
-
English would be a start by the sounds if things.
-
I agree. 40 years ago they’d have been down the pits. No books down there. Just coal.

No more flights abroad, only one set of new clothes a year, no more lifts from Mum and Dad, and three-quarters of your pocket money taken in tax - let them enjoy the Green Party/Socialist Worker future they are campaigning for
-
Yes, I’m not sure if they know quite what they’re saying no to yet

-
Plenty of activists have scapegoats (Government, oil companies, people who drive cars), and idealism hasn't been tempered by "do you actually know what you do that contributes to this?"
-
100 companies are responsible for 71% of global emissions, but sure, 800 kids are the reason for climate change.
-
Well you stop using their products and services then, because companies don't actually sell anything unless people buy stuff.
-
If a company owns both a product and the ‘eco-friendly’ alternative to a product, whichever product you buy funds them. There’s no ethical consumption under capitalism.
-
You can opt out, completely. Capitalism enables you to opt out and live a life of self-sufficiency if you wish, and enjoy life without the fruit of comparative advantage. Capitalism is fundamentally ethical.
-
Unless you have a disability that makes you dependent on carers. And are those the options? Be complicit in climate change, or live in the woods?

Shameful use of these kids by The Socialist Worker and Communistshttps://twitter.com/SocialM85897394/status/1096413200340398081?s=20 …
-
Is it any wonder UK socialists want to bring down voting age to 16yo. Because they can be easily groomed like that 15yo muslim Bethnal Green girl who went out to Syria to join ISIS.
-
This is grooming isn't it? Do they tell the kids that big red flag meant death for 100 million innocents and is as abhorrent to many as the swastika?pic.twitter.com/xUhH1zourI

How sad to see a load of comments from old people (yes you lot below) criticising young people for their passion and desire to improve our world for their future. Yes the politics maybe idealistic but at least they’re standing up and saying that they’re interested and they care.
-
Hmmm. So how exactly is chanting, "Fuck Theresa May", improving our world or the future? Puzzled from Belfast
-
And why has nobody taught them the concept of consent. It's "Fuck Theresa May, but only if she agrees and hasn't had a drink."
