EU refuses to reopen treaty. Can you imagine how intransigent they’d be if we’d actually signed it? Thank goodness for Gina Miller

The UK did sign, Parliament didn't ratify it...and this makes us Irish more resolute on the backstop. Ever heard of 'Perfidious Albion's...err maybe not, look it up....explains a lot about trust or lack of it.

I can't think of Gina Miller without thinking of the phrase "Be careful what you wish for"

The strange twists of fate that get us where we are. But unless May has a plan so crafty it eludes most she has been a terrible negotiator. To accept every form of punishment the EU has thrown at us is madness. Miller may have helped but David Davis has not by knifing Boris.

Sorry can’t read Carwell’s tweet as he blocked me ages ago as he’s not too good with constructive criticism, but would love to know what’s funny-any clues?

Something like how intransigent EU would be if we had actually signed the treaty
