You may well do, but then you have always been more interested in your own narrow agenda than the good of our country. As history will show, Brexit marks the end of Britain as a global power. So sleep well, you will have good cause for many sleepless nights ahead.

Night night!

You may mock, but I have cried all my tears for my country. If you have even a smidgen of care for it, yours are yet to come.
-
It’s because we care for our country we want Brexit. Your tears are wasted. Have more faith. Britain has been a successful country throughout history. We didn’t need the EU for that success!

Why are your comments always so personal? Bit Katie Hopkins?
-
Because varadkar is an over promoted trouble causer and whatever comeuppance comes his way is much deserved
-
Whoever is elected in an Irish General election is a matter for the voters there. If you live there you can vote how you wish, if not your opinion does not matter to Varadkar.
-
Reasonable point. Can't argue with that!!

A spokesperson for Varadkar said: "The EU position on the withdrawal agreement, including the backstop, is set out in the conclusions of the December meeting of the European Council. It has not changed. The withdrawal agreement is not open for re-negotiation."

How did the Taoiseach overplay his hand. Unlike the UK, Ireland took it's place in the heart of the EU called the eurozone. This card alone means that what the Taoiseach wants he gets.
-
And they’re still paying the price of that I’ll fated decision. The EU threw Ireland under the bus to save the Euro.
-
Ireland is growing faster than the UK. The EU effectively gave it guidance.
-
After a huge crash where it borrowed money from the UK and house prices dropping 50%. Growing bigger that the UK from a.low base. All this mine is bigger than yours is so childish
-
borrowed money from the UK ? It was to save British banking losses. Which are affected British pensions so you think we would lift a finger to save a british bank if it wasn’t part of a bigger picture ? And how much did the UK get from the IMF for their last bail out ?
-
Ireland borrowed €85 billion to bail itself out of the financial crisis, €3.25 billion from the UK. Ireland and its citizens were sacrificed to save the Euro as were Greece and Portugal.
-
Ireland Spent too much during its boom, had to borrow to get straight, rearrange the economy, and have now successfully done just that. Fasted growth in Europe and full employment.

They can't favour a third country over a member
-
Well, Ireland's not France or Germany, so they kinda can. They crap on members all the time.
-
Don't think so Ireland won't back down on this.

Irish GDP figures are meaningless - skewed by the massive multinational tax scams that your mate Macron is about to bring to an end. Apparently his pet project is looking a bit short...
