I know a Brexiteer or two who quite liked the idea of returning to the 1950s a couple of years ago. Is this what they meant?https://twitter.com/TomBoadle/status/1089879657871278082 …

More meaningless bollocks from Julia,. Fails to respond to the warning from food retailers. Waiting for the moronic I don't have a brain boiler-plate Project Fear Mark 3.0 response.

Well yes actually I do. Haven't heard you on the radio or on twitter make any factual point on Brexit - you specialise in just cheap empty slogans. I understand - its quicker, requires zero expert knowledge and plays to the masses. Makes life easier for you.

I would rather listen to James O'Brien. The likes of Francois et al who guest on your show are so unqualified & ignorant on trade, finance, business & economics it is embarrassing. I applaud your effectiveness in stirring up the masses, but it is outweighed by my despair.

Then you might want to listen to an international trade negotiator who is on my show tomorrow. And the international trade secretary. Maybe they know more than even you, huh?

Liam easiest deal in the world Fox, only 1 or 2 rolled over EU trade agreements, is useless and out of his depth. Most trade experts believe WTO is like playing in the 4th division vs the Champions League of the EU - but there probably is an outliner Minford of trade.

Possibly not. Fox has misjudged everything. When he first arrived in Geneva a couple of years ago, trade experts forgave his ignorance as the job was new. Now the same experts say that despite having been to Geneva c.10x he repeats his original errors - ie he knows he is lying

Depends who the trade expert is. You should get someone like Jason Hunter on your show who is a trade expert. I criticise Julia because I have listened to parts of your show - you exhibit no willingness to delve into detail. It's too easy to say Project Fear, 17.4m people etc

And frankly David Davis is a rockstar - bigger than Elvis ! The intellectual calibre of Tory Brexiter is disturbingly poor. Bridgen, Dorries, Patel, Jenkyns, Patterson, Raab (remember Calais), Grayling (no comment needed) - the list is endless.

Ask both re the volume impact on exports when we have to apply WTO tariffs in a no-deal (NB we can't control this - I'm referring to exports NOT imports). In short WTO tariffs force us to raise export prices = demand down = jobs lost. Jobs are created from exports not imports

Your Moggs always refer to import tariifs under our control - not export tariffs outside of our control. If we have no jobs we can't afford to import anything. So the impact on exports is critical.

Ask how we expect to get better trade deals with the likes of Japan and S.Korea than a 500m population block like the EU already has. Ask whether there are MFN clauses in the existing EU agreements meaning it is unlikely we can get better terms

Ask whether the government will compensate businesses which suffer from lost exports while Fox is trying to negotiate trade deals which may take years and in the meantime some companies will go bust as they won't be able to ride it out

Many forget but Liam Fox was forced to resign in 2011 as Defence Sec when he massively breached the ministerial code by letting a friend attend top security national defence meetings. Schoolboy error shows he has zero common sense. Only in politics could you come back from this.

Ask why Brexiters peddle a lie that >90% of trade is on WTO terms which is rubbish. WTO may have c.164 members and all their trade globally adds up to >90% - but this is NOT on WTO terms as it includes eg US/Canada/Mexico trade under NAFTA., intra EU trade etc.
